Marcella (she, her) has been practicing as a physiotherapist since she graduated in 1994 with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She also has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Ottawa. Marcella has a special interest in prenatal and postpartum care, and in bone health. As well as working at Main Street Physio, Marcella also works at BC Women's Hospital with prenatal and postpartum clients, and previously provided education sessions with the South Community Birthing Program in Vancouver. She has worked at the Women’s Health Centre in the Osteoporosis Program and Continence Clinic. Marcella has done post graduate training in the field of women’s health and enjoys working in public health and health promotion.
Marcella enjoys travelling and loves to get out skiing and hiking.
Marcella currently works on Tuesdays, but only sees clients with women's health issues such as pelvic floor issues, pre or post-natal, and clients with osteoporosis. In order to book an appointment with Marcella, you must phone the clinic. Marcella does not see ICBC or WorkSafe clients.
