Alexandra Vacca (She/Her)

Alexandra is a Physiotherapist who earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. She has also completed postgraduate training through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division, including Level 1 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program.

Alex has experience in both public and private healthcare settings, treating people of all ages and abilities. From helping children return to sport to supporting older adults to stay strong, confident, and independent, Alex enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life. Her treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and evidence- informed education to create personalized rehabilitation plans that empower clients to reach their goals. Before becoming a Physiotherapist, Alex worked as a Registered Kinesiologist at McMaster University, where she supervised programs at the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence and gained experience with older adults and individuals managing cancer, cardiac conditions, spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis.

Originally from Ontario, Alex spent time working in the Canadian Rockies before moving to Vancouver, where she developed a love for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, climbing, running, and weightlifting, and brings her passion for movement into her physiotherapy practice to help clients return to the activities they love. Alex works Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons, and Saturday mornings. Please email, phone, or book online for an appointment.
