Ergonomics / Injury Prevention

Ergonomics is the study of people's efficiency in the workplace. It takes into account the worker's capabilities and limitations in seeking to ensure that the tasks required, equipment used, and the worker's environment suit each individual worker. Safe lifting techniques, proper posture, computer height, appropriate seating position, and adaptive equipment are only a few of the many examples of ergonomics in the workplace. Poor ergonomics can lead to acute traumatic injuries or repetitive strain injuries (RSI).

Our physiotherapists are well educated to provide an ergonomic assessment for your home or workplace.

Testimonials

Had an assessment and treatment with Alexandra Bacca for physiotherapy today. I was able to book online and got lucky with being able to book my appointment the night before with short notice. Alexandra was knowledgeable and an excellent communicator, explaining as I asked questions and receiving feedback openly on pressure application, etc.

The clinic was clean and easy to maneuver around for anyone with a mobility limitation. There was also street parking available directly in front of the clinic.

Would come back again if I need physiotherapy again.
